TL;DR: We collect anonymous analytics via Google Analytics. We use localStorage for your UI preferences. We do not store personal data on our servers. We do not sell your data. Wallet addresses you look up are public on-chain data.

1. Who We Are

poly-sim.com is an independent Polymarket analysis tool operated by individual data enthusiasts. We are not affiliated with Polymarket Inc.

2. Data We Collect

We collect minimal data. Here is a complete breakdown:

3. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with tracking ID G-WKKTPY9619. Google Analytics collects anonymous usage data including:

  • Pages visited and time spent
  • Approximate geographic location (country/region level — no precise location)
  • Device type and browser
  • Referring website
  • Session duration and bounce rate

This data is processed by Google LLC and subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser.

4. Cookies

We use two types of storage:

  • Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*): Set by Google Analytics. Persist for 2 years. Used for anonymous session tracking.
  • localStorage: We use localStorage (not cookies) to store your sidebar preference (ps-sidebar-collapsed). This data never leaves your browser.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or any third-party ad networks.

5. Cloudflare Infrastructure

Our backend runs on Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare KV. Cloudflare processes HTTP requests on our behalf and may log:

  • IP address (for security/rate limiting, not stored by us)
  • Request metadata (path, method, timestamp)

This data is handled per Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. We do not access or store IP-level logs.

6. Public Blockchain Data

All wallet and trade data displayed on poly-sim.com is publicly available on the Polygon blockchain. Blockchain transactions are permanently public by design. We do not "expose" private data — we visualize what is already fully public on-chain.

If you are a Polymarket trader concerned about wallet privacy, consider using a separate wallet for prediction market activity.

7. Third-Party Links

Our site may link to Polymarket, Twitter/X, Telegram, and other external services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those platforms. Review each platform's own privacy policy.

8. GDPR (European Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights under GDPR:

  • Right to access — you can request what data we hold about you (we hold very little)
  • Right to erasure — you can request deletion of any personal data we hold (you can clear localStorage yourself; GA data can be cleared via opt-out)
  • Right to object — you can opt out of Google Analytics at any time

Our legal basis for analytics data processing is legitimate interest (understanding site usage to improve our tools). We do not process sensitive personal data.

9. Children's Privacy

poly-sim.com is not directed at children under 18. Prediction markets involve financial risk and are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
